Scottish Tree of the Year 2016
August 30th, 2016. For the third consecutive year, the Woodland Trust (a now rare example of an NGO that values high quality photography) commissioned me to photograph the entrants for Scottish Tree of the Year, the winner of which will go forward to the national “election”. In addition to photographing the trees (usually by light painting) and their proposers, I also made audio interviews dubbed with appropriate background sound tracks. The feedback on this innovation from the client has been good and is something I’m keen to do more of.
