North Iceland for Wild Photography Holidays

January 30th, 2017. Our first photography tour of the year, to northern Iceland, has just finished. Working alongside Wild Photography Holidays owner, Geraldine Westrupp, Charlotte and I have broken new ground with our first house party-style tour (that is, Charlotte hosting and cooking, as well as driving) in Iceland. It’s hard work for all but the guests enjoyed a very high standard of cooking and hospitality away from the usual hotel environment in our self-catering apartment on the shores of lake Myvatn. Conditions were good, with enough snow, aurora and low sun to give a proper winter-in-Iceland experience for our guests.
