Mull for Wild Photography Holidays
May 24th, 2016. Largely settled weather and co-incidence with the peak of spring made for a great week on the Hebridean Isle of Mull with a group for Wild Photography Holidays last week. This house party in a fantastic old lodge was hosted by Charlotte who pushed her culinary repertoire further than ever. This extended even to taking a generous picnic supper over to the Treshnish island of Lunga as well as the usual generous ones for the days we ate in the field at lunchtime. Lunga is THE British locations for photographing not only puffins but guillemots, shags, razorbills, fulmars – and rabbits – in close-up. I’ve never encountered such fearlessness anywhere else in the UK; it’s how I imagine the Galapagos to be.
