Islay photo tour
26th March, 2018. I’ve been visiting Islay since 1984 but the island still has something new to show me each time. We were leading a small group for Wild Photography Holidays there last week and enjoyed the full Hebridean experience in terms of weather, whisky (a distillery tour at Ardbeg), and wonderful cooking – courtesy of Charlotte. We had just about enough “difficult” weather to allow me to give all the post-production guidance I wanted to, with special reference to colour grading our images with Lightroom’s split toning tools and, more effectively, with Alien Skin Exposure X3.
