"Laughing" Icelandic horse near Stokknes, Iceland

Iceland for Wild Photography Holidays

October 12th 2014. No two trips to Iceland are the same, each presenting its own challenges. This time, high winds and rain made “easy” photography impossible quite a lot of the time. Years of dealing with this in Scotland helped us get the best out of the conditions for our guests on the two tours – along with some good luck in choice of locations. All our work for WPH in Iceland has been in the winter so far but that will change next year when we made our first mid-summer tour with George Jardine.

I’ve recently added galleries of images shot on our photo tours to the main website. They provide an alternative view of often heavily photographed locations.
