2nd autumn tour in Iceland for WPH
November 14th, 2016. After the bleak weather of our last Iceland tour, things took a turn for the better and our guests were able to enjoy the full range of opportunities that Snæfellsnes and the South Coast offer. We incorporated more light painting that usual, finding the rocket-shaped lighthouse at Malariff a great subject to demonstrate the technique on. The aurora made two shows for us too, on idyllic, calm evenings. The good weather, however, didn’t damped our enthusiasm for working in gloomier conditions too and with recently found enthusiasm for Icelandic Gloom, I set out to re-enforce the mood of a number of my pictures to hint suggest the sinister side to the landscape there.
